The Brony Power Tail is a symbol to raise awareness, understanding and support against the bullying of Bronies. Designed by Brony.com, The Brony Power Tail is the first phase in an anti-bullying initiative designed to educate non Bronies about Brony culture and fandom.
In Janurary of 2014, the attention of many was directed toward North Carolina, where an eleven-year-old named Michael Morones, who upon being bullying at school because of his admiration and love of the television show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic attempted to take his own life.
Just two months later, a nine-year-old student in North Carolina named Grayson Bruce was bullied by his classmates for wearing his My Little Pony backpack to school. To remedy the situation, Grayson's school asked him not to wear his backpack to school any longer as a means of resolve.
By wearing the Brony Power Tail you're showing your support of those that have been bullied in the past for their admiration of My Little Pony as well as raising awareness of the Brony culture. Bronies are loving and tolerant individuals who deserve the right not to be attacked, criticized or bullied for their love and admiration of a television series that teaches kindness and friendship.
Now you can help raise awareness about bullying and also raise money for charity.
For every Brony Power Tail Pin you purchase today, Brony.com will donate $1 dollar to the charity organization The Brony Thank You Fund. The Brony Thank You fund raises money for children in The United States. In addition, if you take a photo of yourself wearing the Brony Power Tail Pin and send it into us at firstname.lastname@example.org Brony.com will donate an additional $1 dollar to The Brony Thank You Fund.
